AVON is company that specializes in beauty and comestics. It was founded as California Prefume Compnay(CPC) in 1886 by David H. McConnell targeting mainly samll-rural located in the United States of America(USA) and prosper to a global brand. It was giving the distinction of being a company to help maximize the beauty of women while also making the transition as natural as possible with the brand introducing its first lipstick in 1919. The company will blossom by the 1920s in conjunction with women's movement to be able to express themselves. CPC was later rebranded as AVON in 1939 to give the brand more identity.
The advertising of AVON has changed over time with the progression being made with each new generation but they also resort to using much older methods such as TV ads and magazines. By 1959, AVON expanded beyond the confines of the USA and found itself in the United Kingdom(UK). Currently, it is widely popular in the UK and is considered one of the three major cosmetic brands there. It has garnered alot of popularity in South America and South Africa. Every second we live on Earth, four AVON lipticks have been sold.
